STICKING UP

FOR CHILDREN

Title. Double click me.

"What a great idea!"

Sticking Up For Children began with an idea from Cyril Neville and bandmates of his in the Royal Southern Brotherhood, February of 2013.

The idea is that well-known drummers donate their used drumsticks and that these drumsticks then be turned into art-work. The drumsticks-as-art are then offered to the public as a means of funding entities that serve young people.

Sticking up for children! As Jonathan Richman, another of our supporters, says: "It's about time!"

Since our first Music & Arts Day, May 25, 2013, at the New Orleans Healing Center, Sticking Up For Children in New Orleans has involved hundreds of children, parents, and
